People wandered by the Daily Globe booth with roses on the threshold of full bloom often enough so far that Beth Rickers, who is staffing the booth today, asked where they were coming from.

I was curious myself, until I wandered into the big gym and saw people from Johnson Builders handing them out!

I never buy myself roses, but it seems to me that the $6 admission to this event is just about worth it if the rose is the only thing you take from the Women’s Expo today. Probably not quite, but almost.

Of course, there’s so much other stuff you can get free today that it is definitely worth it. 

The strangest thing I’ve seen at the booths are these little colanders imprinted with KM Graphics’ logo. I thinkthey’re free, although there were so many people waiting to get to them I didn’t have the heart to take up space and pester the booth workers.
