The line at the Sanford Health screening area seems to have gone down, so it’s probably a good time to go there, if you haven’t already.
Instead, everybody seems to be gathered at the Avalon area, where the girls are doing makeup for anyone who’s willing to wait for a free spot to open up.
A lot of people don’t know that Avalon School of Cosmetology performs cosmetology services, all at a very inexpensive rate, because it’s students (under teacher supervision) doing it. At their booth today they’re giving away $1 off services coupons too, so it’s even cheaper.
Avalon does hair, of course, but they also offer ear piercing, waxing, facials, makeup application, manicures, pedicures and even children’s parties (they can do hairstyles, makeup and manicures for groups of children).
Another place with a line is Deb’s Healing Massage, which is offering free massages.
Sadly, I’m a bit too busy writing to wait for a massage, but people sure look relaxed when they get done with their massages.
